Domestic violence Training Available on CD-ROM
Understanding Domestic Violence is a self-paced instructional CD-ROM that provides an overview of the problem of domestic violence within the social services environment.
Staff who work closely with individuals and families affected by domestic violence may use this course as an introduction or refresher program, and to supplement more in-depth training on the topic. Other staff may use this course to gain a basic understanding of the problem of domestic violence. Incorporating video and exercises designed to heighten trainee awareness, the training takes approximately 90 minutes to complete and is available from your Staff Development or Training Coordinator.
