The myBenefits and myWorkspace project realizes New York State's vision of making programs more accessible to residents by providing an online prescreening and application tool.
This taped presentation provides Social Services Districts an overview of myBenefits and myWorkspace.
myBenefits provides a single Internet portal for NYS families and community partners to connect with benefits and services. It allows individuals and families to learn about, and apply for, an array of work supports customized to fit their unique circumstances, by answering a set of online questions.
myWorkspace is the worker tool designed to assist local districts in processing electronic and paper applications.
As a result of this viewing this presentation workers will develop a basic understanding of the online Food Stamp application process and how to process electronic applications. The video will begin with an introduction of myBenefits and will then go to an overview of application processing using myWorkspace.
