What Happens?
Overdue child support is reported to the Consumer Credit Agencies as debt owed that can affect the non-custodial parent's credit rating.
Why it Happens?
An account is eligible if it is two months delinquent, or the past due child support (arrears) are equal to or greater than $1,000, whichever happens first.
