Getting Started: Navigating This Course
There are a number of ways that you can move through this course. This section describes the different features. You can also refer to this information later under the Help link.
Course Banner
The Course Banner appears at the top of every page and displays links to the main navigation and support links. You may click on these links at any time to:
- Select a different course module/topic from the Main Menu
- Get Help
- Check the meaning of an unfamiliar term in the Glossary
- View how the course is organized in the Course Map
- Exit out of the course
The Back and Next buttons at the top and bottom of each page are the best way to go through each module/topic without missing any content.
Main Menu
The Main Menu displays the three modules of topics included in the course. Clicking on a module picture will take you to that area. You may take the modules in any order, but we recommend that you complete Module 1 first, if it is your first time taking the course.
Topic Selection
Each module displays a menu bar on the left-hand side of the screen that lists the available topics. You may click on topics in any order to move about the course, but it is recommended that you take them in the order presented, if it is your first time reviewing the content. We recommend you use the Back and Next buttons to avoid missing any pages. If you are in a topic and wish to go back to a previously viewed topic, you can click on your Windows Back button in the upper left corner of your gray browser bar.
