Cognos 8 BI Report Studio Computer-Based Training (CBT)
Description:
The Cognos 8 BI Report Studio CBT provides an online introduction to Report Studio, which is the advanced ad hoc reporting tool for Cognos 8 BI. Users learn how to utilize the Report Studio interface to create, modify, and organize complex reports. Advanced topics include creating prompt pages and linking reports. Concepts and procedures are grouped into modules, which are presented in a logical and structured manner. Users have an opportunity to interact with the CBT and practice the techniques discussed in each module.
The preferred way to use the CBT is to install and run it from your local computer. Fill out the form and click the Submit button to access the Cognos 8 BI Report Studio CBT. Then follow the instructions to install the CBT. Run the CBT by selecting the “Run Cognos 8 BI 1.1” option from the set-up menu.
Those having problems with the installation should contact their LAN administrator for assistance. Alternately, you may run the CBT directly from this site (insert link here, but make sure the form is shown first), but you will not be able to record your progress within the CBT.
