Using the HEAP Electronic Workbook (eHEAP)
Course Description
Using the HEAP Electronic Workbook (eHEAP) is a web-based training designed to introduce the new HEAP Electronic Workbook to local district social services workers and alternate certifiers.
Objectives
Working through the course content will help district workers:
- Navigate through the eHEAP system.
- Locate and update an existing case.
- Add or remove members from an applicant household.
- Process a completed workbook in order to establish a new payline in WMS.
Target Audience
- Local district Social Services employees in New York State who are responsible for identifying eligible HEAP applicants and awarding HEAP benefits
- Alternate Certifiers
